Software Defined Networking (SDN) has been used for years in the cloud and enterprise networks, and it is now making its way into OT. Jeff Smith, CTO of Dynics, is a pioneer in deploying SDN in OT, and like many pioneers he suffered some early challenges and had to work his way through them. In this presentation, he goes over some of the problems to avoid and the keys to succeed in your SDN deployment in OT.

The Veracity OT Network Controller uses SDN in the OT space to consolidate network management while reducing the attack surface. This approach is giving early adopters a new way to securely manage their network.
