Veracity OT Network Controller

A software solution that brings the benefits of software defined networking (SDN) to the industrial environment.

Veracity OT Network Controller Delivers an OT-SDN Solution

The Veracity Controller simplifies and streamlines the process of maintaining and managing cyber risk through network resiliency and centralized network management.

Micro-segmentation

Limits the spread of attacks & eliminates traditional network errors like loopbacks

Device communication rules

Hardens the attack surface for all endpoints and protocols

Consolidated network management

Improves migration path for existing assets and increases visibility into the network

How it Works: Flexible Implementation

From Legacy devices to new IoT projects, the Veracity platform uses SDN to future-proof your application.

There are two approaches to implementing SDN within an existing system. The first is to replace or enable the distribution level switch as an SDN switch. The most prevalent SDN technology is called OpenFlow and is likely compliant with your existing distribution switches, such as the Cisco Catalyst 9300/9400. Once enabled, all the communications traffic flowing through that switch will now be managed and segmented by the Veracity OT Network Controller.

The second option is to identify critical assets within the network and upgrade to the Veracity OT Network Security Appliance. This product combines the benefits of OT-SDN from the Veracity OT Network Controller with an industrial switch without updating the central switch.
